Why it matters
Your time changes lives.
In Blackpool, the demand for mental health support far exceeds NHS capacity. Our volunteers fill that gap — providing professional, confidential counselling to people who would otherwise wait months or go without. When you volunteer with CITC, you're not just gaining experience. You're giving someone the support they need to move forward.

In 2025, CITC received the highest award given to UK voluntary groups — a direct recognition of the extraordinary work our volunteers do every week.
